About Us

Rayong

Rayong is in Eastern Thailand next to the Gulf of Thailand. The Rayong province is most well known for Ko Samet, one of its many islands. Ko Samet is ideal for snorkelling, sunbathing, yoga and diving, and is the perfect getaway island. Rayong is easy to get to from Bangkok by bus. A ferry runs daily across to Ko Samet.

The Rayong province is ideally located to explore the surrounding region. Bangkok is an easy drive away, the larger island of Ko Chang can be visited as can Ko Samet. The ferry port to Ko Samet is just 20mins on local bus from Ao Makhamphom.

There are also many waterfalls to visit in Rayong’s neighbouring province of Chantanburi.

The Eastern region is becoming more and more popular as a beach destination so visit it now before it becomes too crowded!

Our turtle conservation volunteers live in Rayong and work on the small island of Koh Mannai.
